Presentation Titles

#1: Five Things You Might not Have Known about the Optimizer

#2: Optimizer Ying and Yang

Abstract

Session #1: Five Things You Might not Have Known about the Optimizer: In this session, we'll look at a few things you might not have known about the optimizer - or that you might have known about but never really thought about what it means to you. All concepts will be demonstrated with complete examples. After this session, you will have a better understanding of what the optimizer does, how it does it, and why it would benefit you to understand it.

Session #2: Optimizer Ying and Yang: In this session, we'll look at practices that benefit the optimizer and (unfortunately common) practices that defeat the optimizers ability to do the right thing. After this session, you'll have a set of patterns and anti-patterns to consider using (and alternatively avoiding!)
