Hotsos training now uses an Amazon Cloud-based instance for all exercises. All students may bring their own laptops to class. If a student does not have one available, he or she may request to borrow one by contacting Rhonda Boswell by phone at 817.488.6200 x520 or via email at rhonda.boswell@hotsos.com at least a week ahead of class start date. The connection to the Amazon Cloud will be done through a browser window using a Virtual Network Computing (VNC) viewer. Real VNC is commonly used for this purpose. Many browsers have the necessary software to support this type of access, and it is unlikely that anything will need to be installed to use the Amazon Cloud.
